joyFULL Faith

Hello!
I am writing this because I want to be REAL. This is the part of my blog where I talk about the real stuff, the hard stuff, but mostly the joyFULL stuff!

I know it may seem odd to have so many categories of recipes and food and then have the random box of faith to click on, but that is where the joy in joy FULL Cooking comes from – my faith. Happiness is something that everyone longs for in life, but I have to say that they are wrong. Happiness is only temporary, while JOY is everlasting. Now, I’m not here to preach or anything, but I want to acknowledge Jesus Christ in everything I do, including my love for food. Lately, since graduating college, I have had a lot of free time on my hands (apparently a college degree doesn’t go as far anymore). This free time has rekindled my joy for food and my joy for writing. Which I believe God had planned all along and thus, this blog was born! It’s amazing how you can quickly get to know yourself when you have absolutely NOTHING to do.

Now I don’t want to get too wordy, as I know some people rather watch videos then read a blog, which isn’t a bad thing,  but I just have to give thanks to the man upstairs for bringing this blog into my life. This choice of choosing to live like Jesus each and everyday has brought so much joy into my life from having more time with him, to baking so much that I’ve gained five pounds. (P.S. totally worth it!) I will definitely add more posts about my faith and you can choose to read them, or simply focus on the food part of me. Either way I hope every one who reads this truly enjoys it, because I know I do!
Thanks,
M.
